Quilts, Crib

Crib quilts are small quilts made to cover babies. Because they are small, they are easy to handle – to fold or roll and store. This is an important consideration because antique quilts deserve to be treated gently: rolled in acid-free paper and monthly aired in the sun, rerolled and lovingly handled with gloves or clean hands free of lotions and other substances that shorten the fabric life. The handling of full-size quilts can be a significant chore! Here is a collage of Amish/Mennonite crib quilts for you to enjoy.
